Hero Sausages’ humble beginnings started with its participation in the Franchise Expo 2006.  Initially featured at the Incubation Center and Emerging Concepts area of the Expo, the company slowly transformed itself into a viable business concept until it was ready to begin its franchise operations.  Starting with two franchise outlets in 2007, it has now opened more than 30 outlets nationwide, opening shops in major malls in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Ubiquitous in major events and festivals all over the country, Hero Sausages has traveled and conquered Luzon’s Panagbenga (Baguio); Visayas’ Sinulog (Cebu), Dinagyang (Iloilo) and Pintados (Tacloban); and, Mindanao’s Kadayawan (Davao) and Kalilangan (General Santos).
 
With the full support of the Philippine Franchise Association, a concept has now grown into an SME, turning a feasibility study into a business reality. (Rose O. Lee)
