PFA, PLDT SME hold Seminar on Urban Market Trends
![]() Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) partnered with with PLDT SME Nation for the holding of the seminar entitled “Assessing and Understanding Urban Market Trends” with Prof. Roberto De Vera last March 16 at Jill’s, The Fort Strip, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig. The seminar is in line with PFA’s commitment to provide access to continuing education to its members, thereby promoting the highest level of professionalism and competency in the franchising sector. Prof. De Vera, a noted expert from the Urban Strategic Group of the University of Asia and the Pacific, said that the seminar was designed to streamline the site-shortlisting process of franchise companies by providing the participants with a refined set of figures and framework as guide. Among the key points tackled were the important figures that capture the size and segments of the fast food market; understanding how urban markets could be the core revenue generator; and, discovering which of the 35 largest Metro areas are considered prime locations that should be included in the shortlist.
