As the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) crosses the threshold of its 20th year, it renews its commitment to promote franchising as a tool for inclusive growth by launching capability-building initiatives and opening more opportunities for its members – both within and beyond our borders.

On this note, PFA is looking for highly motivated and pro-active men and women who would like to contribute to economic development and nation-building through the strengthening of its mission to promote franchising as a tool for enterprise-creation and job-generation.

Deputy Executive Director

Qualifications:

  • With good experience in:
    • Business/industry association work;
    • Handling projects concerning entrepreneurship promotion, membership benefits, MSME development, research, advocacy, government relations and other projects in business support organizations (BSOs);
    • Administrative matters in business/industry association work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and pro-active
  • Team player
  • Ability to foster good inter-personal relationships
  • Exhibits maturity in managing work environment
 

Responsibilities:

  • Will assist the Executive Director in the management of the Association and the Secretariat;
  • Since the Executive Director will focus on the creation and implementation of programs for its members, the Deputy Executive Director will focus on administrative matters of the PFA Secretariat;
  • The Deputy Executive Director will also be given project management assignments
  • May also be assigned other tasks as seen fit by the Executive Director

 

Project Officer for Government Relations & Advocacy

Qualifications:

  • Background in Economics and/or Law an advantage
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • With experience writing proposals and position papers
  • Ability to solicit and incorporate diverse perspectives
  • Team player

 

Responsibilities:

  • Will assist the Executive Director in PFA projects related to government/external relations and advocacy;
  • Will draft PFA’s position paper on various subjects;
  • Will represent PFA in government public consultations/hearings;
  • May also be assigned other tasks as seen fit by the Executive Director
