The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) will stage its largest regional franchise exhibition in Cebu next week as it seeks to boost entrepreneurship and franchise investments in the Visayas amid sustained interest in business ownership.
The two-day Franchise Negosyo Visayas Expo will be held from July 31 to Aug. 1 at the Mountain Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu, bringing together more than 60 franchise brands and allied suppliers offering business opportunities across food, retail, services and other sectors. The event is free and open to the public.
The expo will enable aspiring entrepreneurs and investors to explore franchise concepts, compare investment packages and connect directly with franchisors and business service providers.
“Franchising remains one of the most accessible and proven pathways to business ownership, and through Franchise Negosyo Visayas Expo, we hope to open more doors for Filipinos who dream of building their own enterprise,” PFA President Steve Benitez said.
The event will also feature seminars aimed at helping entrepreneurs start or expand their businesses. ActionCOACH Philippines business coach Camille Conanan will lead a session on business profitability on the opening day, while Francorp Philippines operations consultant Noemi Ruiz will conduct seminars on selecting the right franchise investment on both days. A separate paid workshop on franchising an existing business will be held at Summit Galleria Cebu on Aug. 1.
The expo follows the Visayas Franchise Conference on July 30, where industry leaders will discuss opportunities for franchise expansion in the region under the theme “Igniting Growth: Visayas and Beyond.”
